The first national platform “Chapter 20” created

In March 2018 the first national Platform for Enterprise and Industrial policy “Chapter 20” was created.

 

The platform is composed of 47 CSOs active in creating policies relevant in the field of chapter 20: Enterprises and Industrial Policy, and has as an objective to get actively involved in the private-public dialog. The platform will be actively involved within the reform process of chapter 20 though numerous activities of its members: it will create its own resource center with materials relevant for the monitoring of the priorities of the reform process of chapter 20 and it will support the transfer of knowledge and coordination between the CSOs and other relevant stakeholders at national level.

 

The platform will focus on capacity building activities of CSOs aimed at creating and monitoring of policies: it will organize trainings, webinars, expert meetings, platforms for sharing of good practices, research and other activities.

 

The platform will actively contribute into monitoring and realization of key reform priorities through the following activities: conduction of analyzes with recommendations for the improvement of the competitiveness and innovation of SMEs, improvement of the dialogue with the business community, improvement of the business environment for creating new businesses and provision of better access to finance.

 

The work of the platform will be defined within an annual Action Plan in line with the needs identified by the stakeholders’ analysis in the area of ​​Chapter 20, and it will outline the main objectives and activities for achieving the objectives.

 

The platform was created within the project "Strengthening the capacities and mechanisms for support of the Chapter 20 reform process" funded by the European Union under the IPA Program for Civil Society and Media Support 2015.
